Principal's Message

Rod Sprague

This has been at exciting week for Woodland Spring.  Classes are in high gear and it has been fun to see our students participating and learning.  Activities also began this week with football having their first scrimmage and cross country participating in their first meet.  It is a lot of fun to watch our students grow through these activities.

Next week is also going to be a busy week with Volleyball, football, and cross country events.  MAP testing also begins next week with reading language arts on Tuesday or Wednesday and math on Thursday or Friday depending on which period your child has those classes.  Today we conducted a test on each students device to make sure the settings and bandwidth will handle the MAP test and Zoom at the same time and it appears that all student devices should be ready for the MAP assessment.  The results of this assessment will help us plan instruction to meet the needs of our students throughout this year.

We are looking forward to a great week.  Our students have done a fantastic job this first two weeks.  We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Labor Day Weekend.

 Sincerely,

Rod Sprague,
WSMS Principal
